    You nailed it!

I have never seen a group of 12 other than at LC when they are ingressing. Once they do enter, they break into groups of 2 to 3 max and disperse into the local population, meeting together to carry out specific tasks and dispersing again.

This is a part of the narrative to actually show the 'massive support' by local Kashmiris to the 'freedom fighters' and the 'incompetence of the IA (local RR company commander)' and basically to boost their 'invincibility' tag.

Anyone who has served in RR, will laugh at such claims. At times, it is known a guy is a militant, but till as such time he does not pick up his weapon, IA can do jackshit. That is the law.

Months on end go when you know that the guy is a militant, but you just can not shoot him as that would be cold blooded murder. So you wait, and wait, and then you get him when he picks up the gun.

What do you expect? Every time an ingress? Now they are being had. Count their casualties every time civil casualties are claimed.

This is retaliation. A bigger scale and heavier calibre.

Kashmir: Arun Jaitley says satisfied over aggressive domination of Indian Army along LoC

Srinagar: Defence Minister Arun Jaitley on Friday expressed satisfaction over the "aggressive domination" and "readiness" of troops along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir to give a befitting response to any "misadventure" by Pakistan.

Jaitley held a meeting with senior army commanders at a forward post along the LoC in north Kashmir and reviewed the security situation in the valley which has been witnessing spiralling violence.

"Had a meeting with senior commanders & troops at a forward post along the LoC, and reviewed the security situation.

"The aggressive domination and readiness of troops for befitting response to any misadventure by enemy is very satisfying," he tweeted.

Jaitley, who also holds the finance portfolio, is in Srinagar to primarily attend a two-day meeting of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council which began yesterday.

He conducted an aerial survey of forward posts along the LoC and interacted with troops in Rampur sector where he told them to maintain vigil and foil any misadventure from across the border, an army official said.

Jaitley, who was accompanied by General Officer Commanding of Chinar Corps, lauded the high morale of the troops and assured them that the entire nation was with them, he added.

His visit in Srinagar comes weeks after Pakistani Army beheaded two Indian security personnel in Poonch district which was termed "barbaric" by India.

While Army Chief General Bipin Rawat had hinted at retaliation to avenge the killings, Jaitley had said the sacrifice of the two soldiers will not go in vain and that the armed forces will react "appropriately".

On Wednesday, in a meeting to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, had asked the Army to remain prepared to give a befitting reply to any misadventure from across the border.

The Kashmir valley has witnessed a spurt in incidents of violence and militant attacks in the last couple of months.

Good, optimal situation is all of them fighting and finishing each other off. We need to do everything on our end to ensure more and more splits and acrimony between terror groups.

In good old days perhaps, 12 could be seen together ingressing, But lately not more than 4 attempt in a single group. Recently the number has dropped to even three.

I think sometime militants are deliberately left and inlet-operatives try to buy one group and influence them so that fractions are created. Other than that killing them is a headache in itself. One of the Local Police was found saying "I am not afraid of 1000 boys willing to die. I am afraid If one meets this objective." Army too has been sensitive about these local boys.

Rumors have been the main weapon of these people in the valley. Blatant lies which have been scientifically proven and logically impossible live to this day. And our forces are alarmingly lagging in the information war. Cyber space is the new tool of LeT and something has to be done on war footing to counter this-

After multiple ceasefire violations, Pakistan may launch an offensive across LoC
    May 20, 2017 | 14:17 IST | SOURCE : Times Now
J&K: Even as Pakistan continues with its illegal ceasefire violations, frontier forces of the Indian armed forces have spotted the presence of Special Services Group or SSG commandos of the Pakistani Army, who may have been mobilised in light of the recent ‘coldness’ seen between the neighbouring nations. SSG

As per sources, the SSG has been deployed by Pakistan in close vicinity of the Line of Control (LoC) to launch an offensive on India. In addition to army personnel, it has come to light that Pakistan has now included terror proxies in its Border Action Team (BAT).

Considering the fact that the inclusion of SSG commandos and terror proxies occurred after Pakistan was snubbed by the ICJ in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case, it is being predicted that the neighbours want to retaliate via force, and not dialogue.

A top army official said that the use of SSG personnel by Pakistan has increased this year along the Kashmir front against Indian border posts. It has also been suspected that the SSG have contributed to several ambushes on the Indian side of the LoC.

While SSG personnel have been spotted sporadically in the past, the concentration of such soldiers this year is an indication of imminent danger, adds the top official.

Earlier, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has briefed the frontier forces on how to deal with the Bat attacks. Air Marshal GS Dhanoa has also written a letter to 12,000 officers of the Indian Air Force, asking them to be combat-ready on a short notice.

Before the development, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley, speaking exclusively to TIMES NOW, said the armed forces are fully determined to check any kind of infiltration.

"At present, the strategy from the other side has been to infiltrate people, and then generate violence and terrorism, especially in South Kashmir. Therefore it is important that we check any form of infiltration, which then leads to the insurgency in the state", he said.

Jaitley added that his principle objective was to study the situation and express the country's solidarity with the armed forces.

Arun Jaitley and Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat on Wednesday reached Kashmir valley to review the state's security situation since there has been a rise in the violent incidents and militant attacks.

Jaitley and Gen Rawat's Kashmir visit comes in the wake of beheading of two Indian security personnel by the Pakistani military in Poonch district earlier this month which was termed "barbaric" by India.

While Gen Rawat hinted at retaliation to avenge the killings, Jaitley had said the sacrifice of the two soldiers will not go in vain and that the armed forces will react "appropriately".
