Problems India schools have are teachers are government jobs and india has one of the highest absentee teachers rate in the world. Another problem is the lack of restroom and basic sanitation and the lack of inferstructure. If I was india I would would concentrate on a national internet and each child having acess to a computer personally would consider a inexpensive tablet. Children at the age of one and two in US are getting I pads of one kind or another I expect the results in years to come are going to be amazing. It not really that important what you know anymore but where you find what you need to know and how to use it. I don't need to know where every country in the world is, in five seconds where ever I am I can see a map of the entire world. I don't need to know who to write nice cursive script, we don't even teach that in the USA any more..

Only those kids who's parents can afford an Ipad have it, whether it's in US or India or anywhere. No one distributes it for free (infact we have such a
program for free/token cost low-end tabs for university students, it ran into problems as
the cheap tab behaved like a cheap tab and proved to be little use).

Its an idea I would try on a limited basis, it may not work. Compare it against another area.
Following is a list of virtual schools — coursework from an accredited private school or accredited not-for-profit or publicly funded institution, taught primarily through online methods. Schools are listed by country and by state or province. Within each geographic division, primary and secondary schools are listed first; colleges and universities are listed second.

Virtual Schools in the U.S. 2013: Politics, Performance, Policy, and Research Evidence
This national study, which comprehensively reviews 311 virtual schools operating in the United States, finds serious and systemic problems with the nation’s full-time cyber schools. Despite virtual schools’ track record of students falling behind their peers academically or dropping-out at higher rates, states and districts continue to expand virtual schools and online offerings to students, at high cost to taxpayers. The advocates of full-time virtual schools are several years ahead of policymakers and researchers, and new opportunities are being developed and promoted largely by for-profit entities accountable to stockholders rather than to any public constituency. The report’s authors conclude that continued rapid expansion of full-time cyber schools is unwise. More research is needed; and to enable such research, state oversight agencies need to require more, and better refined, data. Financial controls and funding unique to cyber schools need to be established.

This is one evaluation of virtual schools but would take the above with a grain of salt as the above is representing public school teachers, but any education is better then no education.

East India Company & Indian Education In The 21st Century

It can be stated with certainty that the Order was first established on the Yale campus in 1832. It was officially incorporated only in 1856 under the name Russell Trust Association. According to virtually all the available biographical data on its early members, the money required to sustain the secret order’s campus affairs and its broader role in placing its members into key positions of influence upon their graduation from Yale, derived from the opium grown in India. That trade was set up by the British East India Company destroying Indian agriculture leading to 400 year Indian Holocaust and was flourishing by the time the Treaty of Paris was signed in 1783 ending the American War for Independence. The East India Company during this period was controlled by the Baring Brothers Bank. Toward the closing decades of the 17th century, the British House of Rothschild would supplant the Baring Brothers as the controlling financial interests in Opium trade.

It was the East India Company that split what was once a shared common language of people of India stretching from Peshawar to the borders of Bengal into two languages, Urdu and Hindi, towards the end of the 19th century under the policy of Divide & Rule. As a result, there arose two artificially separated literary cultures, each harking back to a different literary past due to the chauvinistic attitudes both of Hindus and Muslims. This cultural chauvinism was to subsequently embroil them in a practice of divisive politics, and each language became a marker of religious identity.

Now, the same East India Company masquerading as reputed institutions wish to teach us Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, and Urdu with their own interpretation and history of it. The same economic history of Colonial India that made Modern Britain ? What is mind-boggling is that our own Education Ministers and leaders are advocating these same East India Company policies that divided the country and ruled us for almost 400 years.

Through the Parliamentary Leadership Program distinguished members of India’s Parliament are trained at Yale for the better understanding and implementation of their policies in India. It was this very same leadership program degree that our HRD Minister Smriti Irani was referring to when she so rebelliously declared “I have a degree from Yale University”.

It is possible that our leaders are not aware of the history of these institutions or maybe they are. In both the cases do such people deserve to be our leaders who unknowingly or knowingly implement the same East India Company policies ?

Should we depend on Universities like Yale & Harvard erected by the East India Company on the graves of nearly a billion Indians that perished during the 400 year Indian Holocaust to teach us our own Heritage ? Aren’t we going the same Macaulay way all over again ?

Indians Still Dreaming The American Dream ?

As a consequence of such Porno Economics gullible Indian families in order to finance their childrens American Dream ended up having their entire life savings directly into the pockets of Uncle Sam.

What this means is that India has been sustaining the US economy not since just a few years asBrookings report showed but since even before the 90s. Same as India financed and createdModern Britain through the Industrial Revolution when the East India Company had gone bankrupt. Many of the great American and European fortunes were built on the Opium grown on Indian soil destroying agriculture and leading to 400 years of Indian Holocaust that was used to drug entire Chinese generations into subjugation. It were these Opium smuggler families that laid the foundations of Western Education System.
And now when the American Empire is waiting for it’s death nail, novel bollywood style concepts are introduced into India in the form of Skill India, Jan Dhan Yojna etc through Foreign Direct Investment in India.
What nobody seems to question is how when the West is resorting to colonial tactics invading Syria, Ukraine, Iraq to salvage what is left of it’s bankrupt economies, how on earth could the same bankrupt US EU countries would reform and Shine India through FDI ?

    Parliamentary Leadership Programs

Through the India Initiative, Yale has worked actively to develop a portfolio of leadership training programs. The annual India-YaleParliamentary Leadership Program, initiated in 2007, brings to Yale distinguished members of India’s Parliament for leadership education with Yale faculty. The Indian Forest Service Mid-Career Training Program hosts a group of Indian Forest Service Officers at Yale each year for an intensive two-week course at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. The University Leaders Program was initiated in Fall 2011, with 24 Vice-Chancellors and Directors of Universities and Institutes in India coming to Yale for a ten-day course. This program establishes a partnership through the Human Resources Development Ministry of the Government of India with the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. To meet India’s rapidly growing needs for high-quality higher education in liberal arts, technical, and scientific fields, these annual training programs for University leaders will build capacity for institutional innovation in higher education in India and facilitate learning from best practices worldwide.
