    walking in a garden with his hands in his pockets..May be he don't know the procedure to take guard of honour..This RM has a lot to learn ...

    Pls look carefully. His hands are not in his pocket. You can very clearly see his palms out of his pockets only fingers are not visible. It seems that his fingers are behind his hips.

    The slow march does not involve swinging the arms and it seems that Parrikar is trying to do that in his own style. He can't be faulted as he is a civilian and not an armed forces officer.

    Need a video to judge. Just a photo will not tell anything. Someone has done mischief by taking an awkward frame from whole video to make a point.

    My only gripe is he is wearing sandals, that's too casual. It would be different if he was wearing traditional Indian clothes with sandals. It's like he dressed in a hurry and wasn't serious about it.

    Even call center employees are asked to wear shoes with western attire.

    You are talking about 2 generations ago. And most of his pictures I've seen show him wearing clothes that match the joothis.

    Joothis are not casual wear, Lahori chappals are.
