    What is your favorite progamming language?
    Mine is Python & C.
    Python i just love it,its so damm simple and clear.

    my favorite is ABAP-SAP.. Its simple and powerful... Supports all database integrity with the help of Open Sql statements from SAP... World's First ERP software invented by Germans... Although now many java characteristics are added into ABAP coding...

    Though i'm not an IT guy, and programming has never been my forte...
    Still I know C,C++ and Core Java. And SQL Server 2005 for Database programming.

    I have a relative working in SAP and he told me they also work a lot using Ruby on Rails..is that true?

    I started with QBASIC. Now I have a whole range of tastes-I pick one depending on the mood.

    client side: visual studio.net (c#,F#, vb.net), RealBasic (for cross-platform), C++, Delphi.
    web: .net, cold fusion
    Database: sql server 2005/08(scripting), mysql, informix, oracle.

    i like C over assembly for programming microcontrollers

    well, our stealth warship uses vb 6 for navigation.

    Those tabs on the screen is an activex control called "Microsoft Tabbed Dialog Control v6.0" - it's easy to identify if you've worked with vb.

    I am not sure about it... Its mainly for bussiness aps used to write bussiness logic other issues have to be done using external softwares like j2ee or .Net

    Its the most expensive technology as for i have seen... In chennai the official partners of sap-education are Seimens and Broadline technologys...

    Siemens charges whooping 3.5 lakhs & Broadline tech charges 220000 (Including Exam fees & taxes). this institutes are preffered for professional workers.. Less charging institutes are located in hyderabad where you can learn for less than 25k...

    my point being; you can use the same control in MFC too :) since its a COM component.
    or even java if you are crazy enough. :D
